Our hard work in compliance and improvement with Covid-19 restrictions have paid off. On March 25th, 2022, we passed a health and safety inspection conducted by an inspector from Ontario Occupational Health & Safety. Our Covid-19 protocols, PPE availability, training, sanitation practices, and communication were evaluated. No further actions required by our office!
The Chief Medical Officer of Health announced that mask mandates would be lifted in most public spaces in Ontario on Monday March 21, 2022.
This does not apply to high-risk settings including hospitals, long-term care, retirement homes, and other health care settings, including dental offices. Dentistry is a health care profession and infection prevention and control requirements, including PPE requirements, are essential to the delivery of safe and effective oral health care. We will continue to follow the guidelines set out by the Ministry of Health.
Wearing of masks and screening of our patients will continue.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. As guidelines change, we will continue to update our patients.
The Government of Ontario has announced important changes to its COVID-19 Response Framework. Among those changes is the decision to move Toronto and Peel Region into the Grey, or “Lockdown” category, effective Monday November 23rd, 2020 at 12:01 am. Despite wide scale measures and restrictions in Peel region, dental offices were deemed essential and will remain open.
Streetsville Dental remains open for staff and patients with only very limited access by others. As infection rates rise it is imperative that we do everything possible to stop the spread and keep our patients, staff and community safe. We continue to ensure all adhere to all safety measures in place. We have strict enforcement to the wearing of masks/face coverings. We are reviewing and updating our procedures regularly.
We are carefully servicing our patients using our discretion in calling patients back. Thank you for your patience as we try to accommodate dental needs. We apologize if you have not been called in for your continuing hygiene care appointment.
Ongoing precautions have made it challenging to offer the same level of service and convenience you may have been accustomed to. As a result:
